Victron Quattro with sunways inverter

I have a DC coupled and AC coupled system with sunways inverters in the AC that are connected to the same busbar as the AC1 output of the quattros. I have followed the factor 1.0 rule.
The system is off-grid and 60 Hz.

  • In here AC-coupling and the Factor 1.0 rule [Victron Energy] they talk about how to couple with different pv inverters, is there something similar for sunways?
  • How do I enable frequency shifting in the quattros? I can not see the option in ve direct or ve connect.
  • Can I make the AC1 port only an export port so that the sunways dont mess up the batteries?

You program the ess assistant for frequency control. This is done with ve config.
It will only work offgrid since the system cant frequency shift the grid. Unless there are modbus controls over the pv inverter grid connected will not be an option for zero export.

but i read that you should not use the ess assistant without a grid, and we dont have grid

Correct. Sorry my previous answer was generic since your post doesn’t mention it’s an off grid system.

Then you would use pv support assistant

You can combine it with the ac2 out assistant so it switches off the output if there is an issue.
