Victron Phoenix Multiplus 12/300/120

I would be grateful for advise as to whether this unit has a Starter Battery Charging capability as I’ve been unable to locate any information relating to my question.

The unit was fitted to a narrowboat built in 2009.

Any assistance appreciated.

Regards and Thanks
Brian.

Hi Brian. According to the manual the phoenix does have a trickle charger for the start battery.

Have a look near the relay / temp / volt sense terminal blocks. It will be a male spade terminal marked as TRICKLE CHARGE (?).
It will look something like this photo. Between and below the battery connection.

Thank you for your prompt response.
Unfortunately the image you sent differs from my unit in.
The bottom of the two PCBs is totally different and is labelled as PCB000010032.
However, the top PCB010021-4 has a blue block connector with 6 possible connection; 2 have the positive and negative Battery Temperature wires.

Unfortunately I can’t find options to attach photos to this email.

Image is only to reference what the terminal looks like, and how it is labeled on the board. Grab a torch and look.

Have performed C.S.I. inspired cm by cm torch inspection again and cannot find any trace of suggested connector.
Hopefully photos attached.

Regards and Thanks
Brian.

Looking at the photos, your Phoenix layout matches the manual from 2002.
Look at terminal group G.

Apologies for late response.

I realise the output only provides a trickle charge and without wishing to be more of a pain, so that I can select the correct cable and fuse, would you be able to provide detail regarding maximum current?

Regards and Thanks
Brian.
