I have a Victron Easysolar II-GX MPPT 250/70 coupled with a Victron Multiplus II 4800/3000/35 and a MPPT 150/75.
I recently had to replace the Multiplus II with a new unit under warranty.
However the grid feed in doesnt want to disable.
The setting in the remote console is set to off but it still feeds back into the grid.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Did you set a grid-code ??
Hi nonandat69
Can you explain where I set that?
I dont see a setting for a grid code.
Thanks for the help
Did you do any progamming?
If ESS assistant was loaded this is the only way it is feeding back.
Multiplus settings
Tab : grid
Thank you, I found it under VEConfig - GRID. Will try it in the morning. Appreciate the advice.
Yes, the ESS assistant was loaded, but the grid feed in is disabled. Thanks.
This only happens if there is a set grid code and ess has been programmed and feedback has been enabled on the gx device in the ess menu.
If it is happening the it has been programmed to do so and can easily be stopped by setting a grid set point and disable feedback.
Gotcha, thanks. going to try that in the morning. Appreciate the advice.
I check and the GRID setting in VEConfig is set to South Africa, and its still feeding back into the grid.
In ESS its set to OFF on Grid Feed In.
Any other suggestions?
Set the gridcode to none
Will try that, thanks
It seems the batteries are feeding back into the grid, not the inverter. Quite weird.
No, the dc 48v batteries will definitively NOT feed back into an ac grid.
