Victron Multiplus II 48V - 3000VA - 35A stops discharging Can battery pack at 40,75V

Discharging stops at 40,75V even if the connected Can Vero BMS V2 is set to 38,4V. DVCC on. Battery type Tesla Model S

What is the inverter programmed to do though?

To charge lithium batteries but no type because the type is not in the list in Ve. configure.

General: 50Hz, Ac input current limit 32A

Grid: Europe

Inverter: Power assist Assist curent boost factor 2.0, Inverter output power 230V

DC input low shut-down 37.2V

DC input low restart 41.2V

DC input low pre-alarm 38.6V

Charger: Enable charger on, Battery type No corresponding default, Lithium batteries on

Virtual switch: Do not use VS

Assistant: ESS

Advance: No box checked in

Vero BMS V2: Discharge setpint 3200mV, Charge setpoint 4100mV

The dynamc cut off here? These overide the low dc shut down ones.

Power assist should be unchecked when ess assistant is used (it is auto disabled when the wizard is run)

Dynamic cut off, not sure that that is. Dc input low shut down is set to 37.2V

I’m not shure if I understand now but I’ll start ve. configure when i get home today an see if i can check out the Power assist box.

In the ess assitant it is there. If you left them at default that is probably the issue.

Correct as this is the only way to configure ess assistant.

Dynamic cut off is covered in the ess manual

Not sure how to configure the ESS assistant, but i’ll give it a try today.

SoThese values has nothing to do with the problem?

DC input low shut-down 37.2V

DC input low restart 41.2V

DC input low pre-alarm 38.6V

The battery type is NCA/NMC from Testla Model S

Tesla’s have always been a problem. The minimum voltage the inverter will accept in standalone mode is 38V, with ESS enabled the minimum increases to 41.2V iirc from someone having the same problem with Tesla’s.
It just isn’t a good pairing with a Victron system, the tendency of the packs to occasionally combust, notwithstanding.

I’m trying to create an assistant but with no success

Having NCA cells

Thanks for the info, since Vero BMS V2 controls all battery parameters is’t sad that I can’t go lower in voltage.

Thanks for you help, I’ll try some more things before I give up.
