Victron MultiPlus-II 48/6k5/100-50 only charging at 60amp (not 100amp)

I updated my Multiplus II GX 5k inverter to the Victron MultiPlus-II 48/6k5/100-50 at the start of the summer as I will need 100amp charging to take advatage of the cheap electricity from Octopus. As I have Solar I haven’t needed to charge the batteries from the grid as there has been enough Solar to top the batteries up on a daily basis.

Today Octopus had a free 1 hour electricity slot so I set up a timed slot to take advantage., additionally it was also sunny so I was getting around 2.8Kw from solar. The overall charging was around 60amp not 100amp. I also tries changing the batteries to Keep batteries charged and got the same result.

I have been through the configuration and can’t find anything that looks misconfigured.

The low charging isn’t a problem at the moment as there is time to charge the batteries overnight. The problem will be apparent when winter draws in.

Help would be greatly appreciated (as alsways).

@wrightste What are the charge settings on the inverter itself if you download it into ve.configure? Also, using the G98 gridcode turns (read restricts) the inverter effectively into a 3.68kW inverter compliant with G98 cerification requirements. This unit has however not received certification yet in the UK if installed there.

I wasn’t aware that this unit had not been certified against a UK profile which is suprising given the length of time its been on sale and was sold by a reputable Victron dealer.

I can see that a G98 profile would limit my ability to export above the 16amp limit but what I can’t see is why it would limit my ability to charge at 100amps.

Given that I require a password to change the profile how do I go about obtaing the "unlock! password and is the dealer likely to supply one?
