All valid points and true.
But Alexandra, come on, RS19 is no different, in terms of voltages, than Multi RS. Just a different packing.
And for sure, as many batteries come now in rack-type versions, the RS19 will be a big hit, much more than Multi RS.
Imagine how compact and nice will be all, when installed in a server rack enclosure.
But as I’ve said, 2 years now and the RS19 is just being shown at fairs, no market hit yet. Without trying to be mean, I could bet that in the first year was just a firmware for show, that display a couple of things on display and no real functionality.
Someone has been told that RS19 will be available in Q2 2025… I could be wrong, cause arithmetic is not my forte, but that time has passed…
I will be there at the next fair with the money in my hand. Will see if they’ll give me a RS19… ![]()
And cutting edge in case of Multi RS and RS19? Come on, HF, HV inverters were here way before Victron decided to try this way…
When this happened, if the market was flooded with Chinese HF, HV inverters, when, if you think, the Chinese come generally second after copying something, then Victron was the third at the table… So a mature market.
Don’t get me wrong… I like the products and therefore I care. And for a guy that cares, I am pissed off by the slow motion some things move in various aspects. Both hardware and software… Just like a granny crossing the street… Grandpa Victron… ![]()
