We have a set of Victron NG 300 Ah batteries combined with Lynx NG BMS and Cerbo (v1 IIRC). It is a requirement to have a ATD alarm, and the BMS NG relay is already used by the Arco Zeus alternator regulator as we have followed the wiring schematic published by Victron.
In order to satisfy the alarm requirement, we have brought a external alarm from Bluesea and are looking to connect that to the Cerbo relay if this is possible.
I wanted to check:
- Does the NG BMS already have an alarm built in (so I am wasting my time
2.Is only relay one programmable for this purpose?
3.Does the ATD signal come over VECan - so no need to wire directly to ATD terminal on BMS?
4.How to set the Cerbo to do this and what is the pre-disconnect warning time?
5. Finally is there a “test” for this once wired to see it all works?
