Hey guys ran into this amd was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on it. On the victron isolation transformer if I wire 120/240 (2 loads and 1 ground) on the input and the same on the output would it work. The imput and output lugs are labled Load , neutral , ground. If that wont work is there a way to put the 120/240 back into phase ?
if your transformer is wound 120/0/120 (L1/N/L2) on both input and output, then that is ok.
If you transformer is a 240V transformer, without the center tap, then no. The information I have on the Victron transformers is that they are all 240V, without the center tap.
However, you can wire an auto transformer to the output of an isolation transformer to get the 120-0-120V.
(Or use a no Victron isolation transformer that is wound with 120-0-120 on the output.)
