Victron IP22 12/30 + DC-DC charger and MPPT controller at the ArSilicii POWER-LINK 2 TTK node

New setup for using a lithium battery in the campervan, connected to the ArSilicii Powe-Link 2 TTK node. The only problem is that the control panel shows a blown fuse warning or indicates that the battery isn’t connected to the vehicle’s starter battery.

Other than that, everything is perfect and I’m very satisfied. When the engine is running, the fridge automatically switches to battery power and draws energy from the leisure battery, which is in turn charged by the alternator via the MPPT regulator.

Can we have actual pictures of the system?

Sorry, but it’s impossible for me to take photos, as the components are scattered around the camper and aren’t clearly visible.

I was hoping the diagram showing the actual components used would be enough.

Thanks anyway.

Hi everyone,

here are the photos of the system. I’m not sure how useful they might be, but the connections are as shown in the diagram attached earlier.

I’m waiting for the new LiTime 12V 200Ah Xtra Mini LiFePO4 lithium battery.

The next step is to replace the 20-year-old solar panel, which is only 100W and charges my Bluetti Elite 100V2, which supplies 220V to the whole camper.

You might not think much buts it’s an honest system.

Tight space for sure. Appreciate the efforts. In a world where illustrations can be generated something real is always appreciated.

Nice upgrades in the future. Looking forward to hearing more at time progresses.

No sugar-coating here :+1:

But you should definitely add a little padding here, so nothing gets chafed by the metal clamp when it vibrates … :grimacing:

In fact, I could remove the metal cable tie and replace it with a plastic one, putting all the cables inside it.

At the moment, I’m dealing with a more important problem: fitting a protection device between the SmartSolar MPPT and the load, so that in the unlikely event of the MPPT failing, it doesn’t send the 48V input to the load.

I’m considering a few options, such as the Victron BatteryProtect 12/24V - 65A, or a simple homemade crowbar circuit.
