Victron 100|50 MPPT not charging from 1800W or 400W array

Hey all, hoping to get some help troubleshooting my Victron 100|50 MPPT not charging from the solar array I set up. I have a 400W x 4 pannel system that’s 1800 watts in parallel/Series putting out 70V and 26A. There was a spark when I hooked it up but I read that that’s normal. I switched to a single 400W and got the same result, then did it again for the video.

I have it outputting to a 50ah LiTime battery. I’d had an issue a while back with a smaller victron mppt when I built my DIY solar generator, that the battery was fully charged so it didn’t accept any power input. I thought this might be the case here, so I discharged the battery from about 13v down to 11v… still no input coming from the MPPT though :frowning:

I have a video of the setup and showing the spark when I connect the PV wire… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2kbEAyAThE

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It shows 0V PV.
Disconnect PV and check the polarity.

that was it. Thank you. I guess there’s not standard on the positive/negative wiring of the mc4 connectors? I made my own mc4’s and watched the video on it, but he didn’t mention that different pannels have different setups on their connectors… or am i getting this wrong too and there is a standard?
