Very strange readings on GX console while running alternator and Multiplus on my boat

My 12v system is on my boat and is an alternator with a Wakespeed WS500 regulator, a Multiplus inverter/charger, 2 solar panels fed through Victron MPPTs, Victron LiFePO4 smart batteries, a Lynx BMS, all controlled by DVCC on a Victrol Color Control GX. This is what the console looks like when I am running the engine/alternator and a 1200w AC load through my Multiplus:

Notice the negative values on the Alternator and DC Loads sections. Before switching on the Inverter / Charger, the values were +1100W and 250W. (Also, the alternator was outputting 750w-1000w according to calculating the total loads vs. the change in battery state while a ran the AC load for an hour.)

What might be causing these readings?

This would normally indicate that a current measuring shunt is wired up backwards.

i thought so too, but when the inverter / charger is turned off it looks like this:

Same issue with the Wakespeed and a Rec BMS LIPO4 system in my van. I’ve posted on other forums without a solution and ended up disconnecting the wakespeed shunt all together.

Interesting. So I’m not the only one. How is your alternator grounded? Is there a wire from the negative terminal on the alternator back to the Distributor? Mine does not, it’s using a chassis ground. That was suggested as a possible issue on the Victron subreddit.
