Installed new 3.71 on a fresh sd card for Pi5 test. Activated root and logged in via ssh. Checked filesystem and found it to be RW? Changged it back to RO, but after reboot it’s again RW.
Third party modifications typically do this so they can modify the system.
SetupHelper does this.
It’s a pretty clean fresh install from the server to a clean SD… Nothing but root activated.
Also noticed this, on a Pi3B+, with 3.32 and 3.70, both normal and large.
After enabling root and setting password, the venus files on opt/victronenergy folders can be accessed and changed without problems with file managers like WinSCP.
No need of remount, resize2fs, etc.
Probably because the root password is stored on the rootfs?..
