Ve.direct tx installation and mount order

Hi !

I want to make installation as the picture.

What type/section/length of cable and fuse I need to use to go from GND port of battery protect to the battery ? (The one in green circle on pics)

To be sure not to make mistakes, in what order should I connect the different elements between them ?

Summary
  1. Use the supplied 1,5mm2 wire for the GND connection, which should be connected directly to the battery negative terminal (or the chassis of a vehicle). No other equipment should be connected to this wire. Note that the GND cable must be protected accordingly. A 300mA fuse is sufficient.

In any good installation (after mounting). You start from the battery side to make connections.

If you have an AGM remember it is always live… So it is best to have a disconnect from it.

  1. For the mppt there is a section in the manual on connections and commissioning.
    Battery -fusing -MPPT. Check polarity and voltage at fuses go live. Program. Check.
    Connect panels to pv disconnect - check voltage… Check polarity. Go live check polarity again and function.
    Disconnect panels and battery. Move to part 2.

  2. Connect/wire up Battery BP and load box. check polarity. Go live with no loads. Program.
    Shut down.

Sort out the comms between the mppt and BP.

Switch everything back on. Check functions of whole system.
