I’m rather surprised that these aren’t Smart, i.e. with integral Bluetooth. A bit of a shame really as it means another bit of unnecessary kit.
You can add this: https://www.victronenergy.com/communication-centres/ve-direct-bluetooth-smart-dongle to get Bluetooth capabilities - one might says its another bit of NECESSARY kit if that’s what you want to do.

Yes, I got one. Expensive for what is is and just adds clutter. I’ve just bought a small stereo amplifier with Bluetooth . The Bluetooth “facility” is a tiny chip and strip of solder for the aerial. A few € cents. Much Victron kit has integral Bluetooth, I’m just surprised that this doesn’t.
I have BVM-02 battery monitors on my various 24V and 12V batteries. It is just about the same size as the Victron dongle and stores data for the past 30 days which can then be saved into an app. The Victron dongle doesn’t even manage that, which would be useful for diagnosis. I guess I could spend a heap on something else to do this.
Sometimes you don’t want unnecessary quiescent current draw, which means no Bluetooth!
Or control via Bluetooth is too prone to problems, in which case there’s no point in adding Bluetooth either.
In short, you don’t have to make everything internet-connected if it doesn’t need to be!
I don’t what it to be Internet connected. And I would hope approx 1ma quiescent current draw for the BT bit- same as the BVM-02. And probably a lot less than the overall inverter quiescent current.
Many of the solar controllers are BT enabled.
I’d just like a neater product.
