V3.70~5 virtual switch not visible and Remote Console on LAN issue?

After loading 3.70~5 the overview screen I got over LAN came back with a display that looked like a tablet on a white background. I’ve never seen it before, but it looked good although a bit smaller text. I flipped to the brief page and it had 4 tanks AND my battery percentage in the center details!

I noticed the Switch pane is available in the top but no virtual switches.

Checking the devices list, I have test switches in node red but nothing on the display. I re-deployed the flow and refreshed the browser and now the overview display has reverted back to full screen the way it’s been and the center info is gone from the brief page.

Can I get that back?

Hi,

Good you like and see some of the improvements.

Wrt virtual switches not visible in Switching pane:
perhaps remove those virtual switches from your flow and re-add them again? I checked here and it works well.

Wrt overview display has reverted back to full screen:
sounds to me like you’re looking at an old version. Can you make a screenshot, including url in your browser and post that here?

thank you

I liked them, but they’re gone and I can’t seem to get them back. I tried reverting back to 3.60, then 3.70~5 again but no luck. I run dark mode, which on LAN is an all black page with the typical blue cards. The missing display that it first booted to was a white page with a rectangular black area that had a radius corner border with smaller cards.

That display also had the battery percentage in the center, it’s also gone and I can’t get it back. I’ve love to see battery info there, the brief setup page suggests it should be there. Appears with 1-3 items, but not a 4th.

The 3 virtual switches needed to be set up again. After deployment there is only 1 in the switch display, the other 2 are MIA but in the device list.

The NR name of a virtual temperature still does not change the device list name or displayed name until a reboot, maybe that’s normal?

It appears a reboot is required to get the virtual temperature names to update. That’s not a big deal, the names don’t change much. It just doesn’t follow the same pattern as other devices.

The rest of the virtual switches are now displayed. It’s very odd that 1 worked right off, the others required a reboot.

Wish list: Would it be possible to add voltage and maybe current info to the alternator & DC load cards? I have 3 separate battery systems in my coach, it would be great to see a bit about them without digging. Unfortunately my build was before the 24V Orion-XS release :frowning:

Notice the Brief page is missing, a browser refresh does bring it back.

I updated my broken bench Cerbo to 3.70~5 and it has the same display. It’s on my local LAN over WiFi.

The 4 tanks AND battery percentage.

Refresh the browser and it’s gone, no going back :frowning:
