I have updated to latest beta firmware on my boat and this is the first time I noticed ESS #3 on my battery. Since this is boat install, with no ESS assistant on MultiPlus Compact 12/1600, I do not know what does it mean?
That is when the bms disables charging. So possibly just reporting the code even though you don’t have an assistant
OK, could be it, as battery is at 100%, but I find ESS #3 really confusing.
Probably a bug. But unlikely to be working any differently. Did you update anything recently?
I just update Cerbo firmware to latest beta, no other changes.
Wind it back to the previous version and see if it changes. Makes it easier to trace.
