I have a Champion 3500 watt gas only inverter generator with remote start. The wireless remote start works great. In planning some mods for a new trailer I’m considering using a Victron Cerbo GX to remote start this generator by hardwired connection.
Question is does anyone here know how to wire the Cerbo to the Champion inverter for remote start without hacking the wireless fob?
Someplace on the control panel of the generator must be wire leads from the wireless receiver to the start circuit. What wires or pins might this be?

Check out the GSCM WiFi or GSCM Mini from Atkinson Electronics. I checked their hookup charts and this might work for you. Please talk to them before purchase and give them your exact model number. If it’s not already known to work or not work, they’ll investigate and let you know. See the attached diagram to see if this gives you hope.
I’m also looking for the possibility to run the same generator with the wire connected to the relay.
Currently I bought the two-channel timing relay and am going to wire it to the remote control. However, curious if there is a solution just to tie a wire
