I am getting a Honda EU7000i which I think is the bluetooth enabled genset. I need to connect the genset to my Cerbo GX so that the Multiplus II 3000w 24v can work with it to manage my battery bank’s charge automatically. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to do this?
Do you want to realise the starting process via Bluetooth from the Cerbo … which will not work … or wired via a relay from the Cerbo ?
You have a main switch and a start impulse … realising the whole thing via just one relay output will not work without an external circuit.
A wired relay. We want the Cerbo to manage when the batteries need the genset to turn on and off based on the parameters I set for our bank. I know the bluetooth on the Honda won’t work with the Cerbo, which would still be a manual start/stop. I’m wanting to create an auto gen start/stop.
You definitely need an external plug connection like this one …
Relay 1 from the GX may then be sufficient to start …
Thank you so much!

I have ended up buying this wiring harness and it was easy to install and totally works to auto start/stop the genset. I have a 24v system however and I cannot seem to get the CONDITION of the BATTERY VOLTAGE to control the auto functioning because in the REMOTE CONSOLE it will not allow me to choose values for a 24v system… only a 12v system. What is the issue here??? How can I change my REMOTE CONSOLE so that I am able to change the BATTERY VOLTAGE as the CONDITION for the GENERATOR START/STOP function to work with a 24v system.

But you’re only using one contact from the GX… Relay 1 is the standard relay for the generator function.
This has nothing to do with your battery voltage of 24V… The only thing you need to consider is charging the 12V generator battery… If it’s empty… you’ll only be able to start it manually.
Or am I misunderstanding you… ![]()
