In the docs for the Multiplus II it links to this doc for the G99 application:
I’m trying to find the ENA number for the G99 application though. https://www.ena-eng.org/ only has data up to 16 March 2024, I’ve searched on https://connect-direct.energynetworks.org/ (which is supposed to be current) but the last Victron inverter that’s been added was the 48/15000 in June 2024.
Does anyone know what system reference to use for a G99 application with a Multiplus II 48/6k5?
@pau1phi11ips It seems it has not been submitted for ENA assessment yet and therefore not approved for use on the UK grid.
Seems a bit odd that Victron has had nothing new approved since June 2024 though!?
@pau1phi11ips Not every product is necessarily going to be submitted to ENA for validation as soon as it is launched and there is already is good choice of certified products. May just be a matter of time as it is also a time consuming and resource intensive exercise and then again it may not be on Victron’s roadmap at this point in time.
Just to update on this. The 6k5 is now listed on Connect Direct: VICEN/19543/V1
However, it’s currently showing the test result as Non-compliant: ENA Connect Direct
Does anyone know if this is usual and compliance status can change later?
Looking at the test certificate it says it’s compliant to type A connection and I can’t see any of the tests failed.
@pau1phi11ips Some insight Multiplus UK G98 G99 non-compliance update - VictronEnergy into the compliance assessment mechanism. It would really depend in this case the severity of non-compliance and whether it will require e.g. firmware or even hardware adjustments to comply with likely newer standards as the test results submitted may not reflect all the requirements for certification. My advice has always been to ensure the product is certified before purchase if it is going to be connected to the grid. The next steps decision would be purely an internal one with Victron and it may be worth contacting the regional sales manager on this question.
I found this video quite enlightening: https://youtu.be/7kuNpGyoFp8 I’ll keep waiting
