Trend no longer showing on SmartShunt 712

Hi!

Last year I purchased a SmartShunt BMV 712 with Bluetooth for our sailboat. After connecting it to my phone, I could beautifully use the Trend page in the app to analyse the performance of our batteries, solar panel and so on.

Now after the winter the Trend page shows only the real-time data since I opened the page. No history is available. Any help in finding out what’s broken is highly appreciated :slight_smile: I assume that you can extract all necessary information from the two Service Reports I’ve taken (yesterday and today)

Note that I needed to add the .log file extension in order to be allowed to upload the file.

Some details that might be interesting:

  • I changed phone during winter
  • After connecting my phone the first time this year, it asked me to flash new firmwares to the SmartShunt, which I happily did and it seemed successful.

Thank you so much for your answers! Clearing the stored data did work in the end—not on the first try, though. But when I tried again later and also deleted the battery history, it worked. :+1:

Thank you for reporting this and attaching the service reports. We have identified the problem and are looking whether we can improve this in a future VictronConnect update.

In the mean time, what you can do is clear the trend data in the device in the trend menu and then using the hamburger menu at the bottom and pressing “Clear stored data”. The old data is then removed, but it will gather and show any new data that it gathers from that point on.
