The “Total Consumption” energy value in the upper right corner in VRM shows the same value as further down in the history section (OK).
The “Total Solar” energy value below that however shows a value that does not seem to make any sense. The power value is accurate. How is the energy value calculated?
Do you have the time/date filter set to last 24 hours? I believe the top graphs are always -24 hours, and the bottom numbers adjust depending on what the filter is set to.
That wouldn’t explain why the consumption value matches the one on the bottom but the Solar value does not.
It may - depending on your consumption pattern.
Even with the range set to “Last 24 hours” it still does not add up in my case.
I’m wondering if that figure is coming from your solar charge controller? I have an AC-coupled inverter and that figure doesn’t appear on my system. Have you checked that?
Do you have any virtual PV devices or meters?
Indeed - I have a virtual PV inverter that tracks the data of an inverter coupled to AC out alongside with a native MPPT 450 battery charger.
Be sure you aren’t ending up with double accounting on virtual meters.
There are also some known issues with the node that can record incorrect spikes - requiring a setting change on the node.
