Too many USB devices? Signal K locking up, Node Red refused connection, Cerbo forcing firmware loop

#Signal K server hangs preventing access. Looks like I found the limits of the Cerbo GX USB/serial inputs. I have: Port 1 - power to touch 70, port 2: USB hub/extender to 5 solar MPPT’s, port 3: USB powered 4 port hub w/ tank 140 which all works well except when I plug the nmea0183 in and add the Data Connection to Signal K. Initially, only GPS data was coming through (but port input showed full nmea0183 streams) but as soon as I enable some output the whole SK server crashed and takes the Large image with it. Next 5 hours of troubleshooting to actually see the connection between too much data, on USB ports, locking up signal K, within Cerbo. If someone has some further troubleshooting ideas, awesome! If not I guess I’ll move signal K off to another computer. FYI, Victron docs say they have tested Cerbo at 20 - 30 USB devices. Cerbo didn’t go down (locked access to Node Red and SK. How would I meter the traffic (on USB inputs) to see upper threshold limit? Other ideas?

You might just be at the power limit of the usb port.
The usb hub should be self powered. Or be a one that has a decent internal PS.

Yes more than 20 devices (i have a system with 30) can be connected, but not connected and powered.
