I am at the end stages of putting in a 400 ah multiplus, bmv712, and a venusos pi3b+
I have everything wired up and workign properly. Exctpet I do not see the analog input section under i/o. I did some searching and all i could find was an old thread aobut beta firmware 3.2X. I am on 3.53 and used the tool in the “cerbo” to update, however it was not showing prior to the update. I have never seen them, thinking back on it (I was on 3.52 for a short minute.
Any suggestions?
Come to think of it, I can also use the shunt temp probe… but doesnt that also show up under analog inputs?
regardless if i got that working, ill likely need the multiplus probe as Im going to move the screen on the shunt across the rv
Thanks in advance everyone!
(just wasnt to note how incredibly cool it is that Victron not only has VenusOS avail, they actively support it. Reminds me of hackign my Tivo in 2000… they were so supportive, they put notes on each section of code and bashed it out, as a readme for us hackers. keep it up!! KUDOS!!!)

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to tag as Cerbo. I’m only using Venus Os
Doesn’t the multiplus have analog inputs? It comes with the temp probe, is there no way to use it unless you have a true Cerbo?

Hi,
Yes the Multiplus does have an analog temperature input, but then it isn’t usable in the same way as one that is connected direct to a GX device.
Connecting the temperature probe directly to the multiplus is used for battery voltage temperature compensation when the MultiPlus is charging the battery.
It will not be visible in the I/O menu on the GX device, that is only populated with a temperature probe connected directly to a Cerbo or Ekrano GX.
Here is what I’ve done since, but I still cannot get any relay to trigger on the multiplus, with temp being provided by my Ruvvi tag or even manually in VenusOs
I added a ruvvi tag and set it to trigger relay 1 or two based on temp rules.
I tried to manually just turn on relay 1 or two, connecting to the upper removable blue block or set to K1 or K2
