Some days besides the topic name are the avatars of all participants to that topic, other days only the big avatar of the OP.
Is the system that’s unstable or is just the undecidedness ? 
As usual it’s me.
I want the avatar to the be original author on the main front page (where it also shows the categories).
Unfortunately the method to do this removes the multi-avatar mode on the categories/topics pages.
It will change again before it finally settles.
