Last year I upgraded my offgrid cabin’s solar system. Now there are two Smart Solar MPPTs, a Blue Smart IP22 a BMV-712 and a battery protect 12/100. As much as I like the Victron Connect App, I want the data (solar power, energy, SOC, and Batt Voltage & amps at least) stored in my VRM portal as well, for the long term.
Is it sufficient to have a Raspi with LargeOS and a VE.Direct to USB adapter to get the data into VRM, or do I miss something? The Raspi and VRM connection is already set up and running, but as my cabin is 7.500km away I can’t test the final setup.

Yes, if you have a pi then get some VE Direct to USB cables, the Smart solars will connect as will the BMV but I do not think the charger has VE direct. Also once wired it is advisable to turn the Smart networking off as having 2 parallel comms systems can cause erratic behaviour. If you do not have enough USB ports use a quality hub.
