Hi, I have a SmartSolar MPPT 75/10 and Battery Sense connected to a GlobalLink 520. I have just added a SolarSense 750 to the panel, I can see the SolarSense 750 in Victron Connect but when I go into the GlobalLink 520 (under Smart Devices in the menu) via Victron Connect it can only see the MPPT SmartSolar and the BatterySense but not the SolarSense. Any idea’s?
It isn’t listed as a supported device for the globallink.
No idea if that is planned or not.
From the manual, not sure if you tried this?:
On the Remote Console, go to Settings > Integrations > Bluetooth Sensors and enable the SolarSense 750.
The sensor will show up in the Devices menu from where you can read out irradiance, cell temperature,
The GlobalLink doesn’t have that in it’s menu.
From the globallink manual. If this doesn’t work then it is unsupported, as mentioned it isn’t listed in the compatible device list.
Steps to configure smart devices.
In VictronConnect, go to your GlobalLink and then to Settings by tapping the cog wheel icon in the upper right corner.
Click on Smart devices menu.
A list with all smart devices and RuuviTags in range will show up. Toggle the slider to enable (disabled by default) those you want to see on the VRM portal.
If your smart device does not show up in the list, it might be out of range or its battery is depleted.
You can change the name of the device by tapping the device name and then tapping Custom name.
After configuring the smart devices, you can see if they are working correctly in the overview page.
Yes, it doesn’t show so must be unsupported.
