I’ve been noticing for a while now that the morning sun forecast is inaccurate. It’s also in the afternoon, but not nearly as bad as in the morning.
I have two sets of solar panels with two inverters, both connected behind an EM24 with a total capacity of 6kWp.
If I look at the sun intensity forecast, there should be approximately 98w/m² of irradiance during 6 and 7 hours. Looking at the forecast, I see that 3.4kWh should be generated. This isn’t really realistic.
I also think this is throwing DESS off. I can’t find anywhere any settings to tell DESS how much solar panel capacity I have. I think this should have been learned over time, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Is there anything I can do to make this better?
