SmartSolar MPPT 75 / 15 shows draw on "Load Output" when nothing connected?

Recently installed a SmartSolar MPPT 75 / 15 which is connected to a 50 watt solar panel and a 12v LiFePO4 12Ah battery. Even when nothing is connected to the “Load Output” leads the app, connected via BT, shows a draw of 0.2A/3W to 0.3A/4W. I would expect the Current/Power readings to be zero when nothing is connected. I do see an increase in current and power when there is an expected draw, but it never goes to zero - even when disconnected.

TIA for your help.

@ramstex Can you confirm both the VictronConnect app and MPPT firmware are the latest?

Is the load output turned off in the app? I saw the same when leaving it “ON” without loads connected.

Yes, current MPPT firmware is v1.68 with integrated Bluetooth interface (rev 3) at v2.53

No, the Load Output is set to “Always On.” I need that for my use case when I have something connected. I just thought it odd there was a power draw on the output when nothing was actually connected.

What is currently / usually wired to the output? I checked two units on my test bench and one with a led light wired to it and one without anything and both show solid 0’s.

Also check for stray wires, mabe water ingress or something. Where is it installed?
