Hello,
I’ve just set up a SmartShunt IP65 300A in my system to act as a DC meter in alternator mode on my 2 older Orion 30A’s so they show up as a Alternator tile on my Cerbo GX & Touch 70.
I’ve also wired in the “aux input” to the starter battery to measure starter battery voltage. as you can see, it shows up as an aux input on the Cerbo GX and VictronConnect ( also set to starter battery )
But I expected to see it in the “battery measurements” page like normal so I can set it to visible for the starter battery just show up on the VRM, but it appears to be absent.
Setting the Smartshunt back to “battery monitor” mode which doesn’t suit my needs does make it reappear on the battery measurement screen.
I also noticed in the VRM widgets when set to DC metering mode starter voltage/auxiliary input voltage is not available. unless you make a custom widget where auxiliary voltage is an accessible parameter.
I wonder if anyone has come across this issue or is there a good reason when in DC meter mode that the auxiliary input disappears as a starter battery on VRM even though it is an accessible parameter elsewhere?
