Can anyone confirm or deny that the SmartShunt broadcasts it’s state via the Bluetooth Low Energy Extra Manufacturer Data protocol, in the same way that the MPPTs do?
I’m not asking about whether it supports a Bluetooth connection, I know it does that, but specifically whether it broadcasts over Bluetooth Low Energy in a connectionless fashion.

I see the data in victronconnect, next to the mppt’s, so it should all work the same way

Can you confirm that you see the battery data on the front page of Victron Connect, before you tap on the SmartShunt to connect to it?
Which particular data items do you see? Presumably SoC, anything else?

Here’s a screenshot from my VictronConnect - you can see the advertised data being broadcast by all the paired devices, without Bluetooth connections being opened.
