Hello all,
I’m kind of desperate meanwhile… my IP43 50A 3 output in almost all cases reports one connection with “#2 high voltage” and shuts down for restart although all voltage I can measure on battery (one AGM 250Ah, two AGM spiral 85Ah, each single purpose no connection to each other) or Victron connector shows “right” voltag 13.7-14V but monitor says up to 18V and shuts down.
Installation is on board. But I tested also separat 230V AC from shore without boat infrastructure. Any defects kown with this IP43 modell?
Any help or guidance appreciated!
Try looking for a blown fuse or burnt connection on the High voltage output. (Note this may be an internal fault).
Do also test the voltage at the charger terminals…
by High Voltage output, I mean the charger dc output(s) that are above the battery voltage or above the programed voltage e.g.18V instead of 13.8
Thx, Mike! Charger output current is within specs… can‘t see anything suspicious when testing with volt meter. That‘s what irritates me. Anyhow the charger obviously destroys batteries. What do you mean with high voltage output? Best regards, Wilhelm
