Smart Battery Sense temperature reporting in VRM portal

I have Cerbo GX, SmartSolar MPPT 100/50 and Smart Battery Sense installed on my boat. Smart Battery Sense is connected to MPPT 100/50 and it shows battery temperature via Bluetooth.
But CerboGX for some reason don’t see the temperature sensor or battery temperature data reported by MPPT 100/50. VRM also says “Data is not available”. What do I need to do the enable temperature sensor in Cerbo GX and reporting via VRM? Is this possible?

Correct, it is not possible. See the Temperature Sensor datasheet here, with all the capabilities and limitations of each Victron temperature sensor listed.

Thank you, Justin. After I posted I found this table as well. It is very disappointing. Physically there should not be any problem to post the data to VRM. I don’t think it is marketing trick because Victron makes a lot of money selling temperature sensors either.
What would be a reason then?

I think it’s as simple as that’s not what it’s for, so it doesn’t work that way. I’m sure there’s some way that the entire architecture of the unit and how it works with a VE.Smart Networked device could be redesigned entirely to make it work that way, but that would lead to increased costs and increased complexity that additionally increases the chance of failure or aberration, so that wouldn’t make anyone happy either. Better to just use products as they’re designed, with the correct products being chosen in advance to meet your desired use-case.
