I am planning a Dutch 3×25 A installation with:
- one MultiPlus-II 48/4500 on L1
- Cerbo GX
- EM540 energy meter
- battery
- ESS
- critical loads on AC-out-1
During a grid outage I’d like to manually switch the AC input of the MultiPlus from Grid L1 to an external 230 V source (Hyundai Kona V2L or a generator).
My questions are:
- Is this a supported ESS topology?
- Can the AC input simply be selected with a manual transfer switch between Grid L1 and the external source?
- Is there an official Victron wiring diagram for a single MultiPlus-II in a three-phase installation?
The goal is to recharge the battery and power the backed-up loads from the external AC source during a prolonged grid outage.
First picture is how I think a wiring ‘diagram’ would be, But I Don;t know if it is correct.
Second picture is the situation in a power-outage. My car (or a generator) will fill the battery.
