I have a Cerbo GX running Signal K. I transmit AIS information to MarineTraffic periodically. The AIS data comes into Signal K via a wireless connection from an AIS receiver to the Cerbo. Most of the time things work perfectly.
Occasionally the AIS unit reboots itself without warning, when this happens transmission from Signal K to Marinetraffic halts until such time as I restart the Signal K server. When Signal K is in the error state I see that the Venus plug-in activity goes to 100% deltas/s, it stays there until the restart.
I don’t think I can stop my AIS unit falling over but can I get Signal K to automatically restart if a) the connection from the AIS unit is lost or b) Venus deltas/s goes up to 100%?
