It’s been a couple of years since I installed a Multiplus/Cerbo at home - grid connected, but configured not to export (i.e. self consumption).
When I installed it, it couldn’t work without the Cerbo.
I have just been looking at the available assistants for the Multiplus, and I see that the self-consumption one no longer tells me that it needs the Cerbo. Is that correct?
All I need it to do is supply the load if the battery voltage is high enough, and, of course, if the load is within its capability.
If you are running the ESS assistant, then part of the settings and control is done via the Cerbo.
Other assistants don’t require one.
