RV system - Alternator, Solar, Grid

I currently have a non isolated Orion TR smart charging my ‘house’ lithium battery from the ‘smart’ alternator in a vehicle. I would like to expand it to have solar charging via eg. MPPT 100|30, and grid charging via eg. a Multiplus II, which will also allow for AC mains power when off grid. A quick google search says I cannot connect a Multiplus in parallel with an Orion. I am unsure about having the MPPT in parallel with the Orion - which I would like to do, ie. the battery is kept topped up by either alternator or roof solar depending on what is available. How can I safely make these connections? Is there an example RV setup somewhere? Surely this is a common question but I have not been able to find anything.

I should probably add some state of charge monitoring as well.

Your question is very basic and suggests that you have little electrical knowledge. It may be better getting a system installed by an electrician who deals in vehicle installs, especially with ac voltages from a Multiplus.

Your question is answered within this forum, yes you can have multiple charge sources on one battery and as long as they all have the correct voltage settings will coexist. However, you need to make sure that your battery charge current limit that the BMS shuts off at is not exceeded from multiple sources.

Actually I have 40 years of professional electronics and electrical experience. I am however not foolish enough to assume I know the output circuitry of commercial equipment, and cannot therefore judge whether a unit that both inputs and outputs high DC can be connected in parallel with other high output DC units. Yes the question is simple, I’m not looking to design it, just determine what none of the manuals make clear or even address.
