I have a 15s NMC batttery bank with a 63V 100% SOC voltage.
Is it safe to run the RS450/200 at its max of 62V (I know it derates to 5amp from 60v and yes I know the max set point is 60V, you can adjust the volt sense input for 62v with a resistor voltage divider.)
I know there is a design issue that means it has been derated so it does not operate at high voltage and has been turned down to compensate in firmware, but am I going to burn it out if I am always trying to push it, even though it is within its firmware limits,
Should I just yolo it and extend the warranty to 10 years?
Given the the high voltage issue has been known for years, has the issue actually been fixed? Or has it been unchanged over the years with the known issue?
Its a new unit.
Cheers
Stephen
