Firstly, due to the sequencing of the internal neutral grounding relay of the Multiplus, you can’t use an RCB on the input side - they mostly always trip.
Best to fit the multi on the input side, then connect the existing load circuit on the output side.
@alanb From the Multiplus-II manual “An earth leakage circuit breaker and a fuse or circuit breaker rated to support the expected load must be included in series with the output, and the cable cross-section must be sized accordingly.”
yes agree RCD or RCBO needed on output ,it was more the input i was thinking,I have a working EPEVER inverter which i am swapping for victron,
I have read that an earth leakage detector on the input to inverter can keep tripping.I already have two inline RCD which are not tripping with epever.
I am going to start another thread showing a diagram of my proposed set-up .which I am happy to accept critisism . thankyou for you reply
