Remote Console works but VictronConnect fails

After many frustrating days I ask your help. I just installed an EVCS and a Cerbo GX into my simple solar system. I am not connected to the internet, don’t have a router etc.

The Cerbo GX has a very weak WiFi signal so I bought a TP-Link EAP110 WiFi extender. With that I can see the Remote Console of the GX but not VictronConnect. And the two devices don’t see each other. Does anyone know if I have the wrong extender (ethernet cable instead of USB)? Any ideas? Thanks.

It depends on how you are using victron connect.

If using the local tab, it will be trying to use Bluetooth (and lan if it is enabled), if using the vrm tab it will use internet.
