I’m prepared to accept I’m being stupid, but can anyone explain the logic behind the order of the ranges? Today in particular seems to be completely in the wrong place to my mind.
Are you using beta? What is the application or what are you trying to do?
For tank level and the like its nice to out in a range on a sensor that equates to a percentage in the tank and the range works it out automatically.
Sorry I should have been clearer, I’m referring to the beta vrm dashboard quick (time) ranges, today, yesterday, last 24 hrs…
Hi @TheITBoat ,
The quick ranges are quite difficult to order in a way that for everyone it feels predictable to find a specific quick range.
So now the order is:
First column: Historic ranges ‘bigger’ than 2 days of data
Second column: Historic ranges not including today
Third column: Ranges including the current hour
Fourth column: Historic ranges ‘smaller’ than 2 days of data
Because we offer so many standard ranges, in every logic of ordering them, one of them felt odd in the group they were in.
If you have a good idea, always happy to drop it here of course! ![]()
Thanks Barbara, I sort of get that. For me the column order I feel should be 3,4 1,2 with today being the first option.
