The display always refers to the full hour … even a graphic display that is now “to be shown retroactively for 3 hours” at 5:30 p.m. … starts at 3:00 p.m. … i.e., “going into” 5:00 p.m. …
ONLY the 1-hour display goes back exactly 1 hour… i.e. to 4:30 p.m.
In your entry, you probably go into the 12th hour at 12:01 p.m… i.e. 3 hours.
Say I want to see what happened on a system yesterday, up until this time, say now it’s 16:42 in the evening and the sun is about to set, because I am noticing some strange behaviour today and I want to explore if the same behaviour was also there yesterday.
I fire up VRM and check the Advanced tab. Select “Last 24 hours”. Alas, I have NO CLUE and NO FEEDBACK on the most wanted time period, i.e. 16:42 - 17:00, since the graph starts at 17:00 onwards!
Selecting the back arrow, also EXCLUDES the aforementioned time period! The ONLY way to see the graph between 16:42 and 17:00 would be to manually select a time period. This is nuts.
IF this is a feature, I would be grateful if someone from the team could elaborate. Else, this is a bug and should be corrected.
