Quattro to the easysolar gx data system

Hi everyone
I would like to use your experience with connecting a second inverter to an existing system with an inverter and battery storage. I have an easysolar 5000 gx system and 32kWh batteries (plus two MPPT and 10kWp panels and the whole house on one phase… so that I can charge the electric car overnight, I want to use a quattro 15000, which will discharge the batteries. For testing, I connected the whole system, charged it and everything works as I expected, I connected the quattro ve.can via USB mk3 to easysolar via data. Unfortunately the system sees the quattro, but cannot integrate its energy flow into the easysolar information system

Please share your experience or advice, thanks

Look at venus.local. The two charge currents are added together.

But pay attention, there is no common CCL. Only the current of your easysolar, smart solar is regulated by the battery requests, not the current of your 15kquattro which is connected with a second MK3.

The quattro will only work in DC-AC mode, the storage will only be charged via easysolar.
The problem is that I can’t find a way to integrate its energy flow into the venus.local display.
However, if I open the quattro AC output widget in VRM, the data is displayed online.
Has anyone tried the ve.bus smart dongle for example?

The MP 48/800 is my charger. Configured for my Pylontech batteries without Gridcode.

Works

Did you switch this (see circle ) on?

Thanks DirkW, I turned it on in venus.local right after connecting, but I still couldn’t see the Venus quattro and its energy flow in the base panel.
The system was in test mode, in a makeshift setup and under load, everything is fine except for the data display.
I have the final quattro installation in the next room, so I will look for a solution… further setup with usb mk3 ??..setting in ve.configure ?..ve.bus dongle ??or a separate cerbo for quattro and then merging with easysolar ?

The 2nd MP does not appear as an additional device in the overview pages.
You can only find it under > Settings > Devices. Its operating values are also located there.

Simply configure it with the MK3 and victron.connect or ve.configure and then connect it to the GX device via USB.

Then you should be able to see it and flip the switch under System setup.
