Quattro not connecting back after AC grid lost

Hi @lxonline. Wouldn’t it behave the same if AC is not available few times compare to AC being low few times? I think the results will be the same, no?

If the AC voltage disappears then reappears the quattro tries again. Its like faking a grid lost scenario.
You can test the theory by swirching the breaker for grid ln and off. See if the system retries

It is either that, or you set it up so it is less tolerant of the grid and then it disconnect ls more often and then attempts more reconnects.

Super! Thanks for this - really appreciate it. Will give it a try now.

It is set to no grid code compliance with widest range of tolarance, it still stays after a while in AC disconnected state. This is a mountain cabin which requires almost a 4 hour round-trip so don’t have the luxury to test with breakers :frowning:

Are you sure UPS is off ?

Yes, here is the config file downloaded just now.
PCJ__c0619ab55099_inst_ttyS4_Interfaces_Mk2_Tunnel.rvms (9.1 KB)

How can i read this file ?

Install VE Configurator. Part of VE Tools.

How are you detecting LOM on ac in 2? DO you have an anti island device?

There isn’t any on generator. It was suggested in one troubleshooting guide to try disabling it hence the setting. Make no difference.

It helps if you have ESS and a generator input. It should only be disabled on the generator input.

To be honest it still does the same behaviour on latest Inverter firmware update. Very unreliable how it connects AC inputs. You never know what to expect from it now.

Is the node-red flow I put together working?

Interesting thread, I think there is probably something Victron can do to improve this situation as well without requiring the work arounds. Even though they seem like the best solution available now.

I will pass it on internally.
