Quattro 48/8000 with VE.Bus #14 write error

I have a Quattro 48V 8000W 230V and it works perfectly when it stays on. Except it keeps turning itself off due to “VE.Bus error 14 – Unable to write data” – it doesn’t matter if it is connected to a computer with VE.Bus or totally disconnected. I have tried different cables. I have two processor boards, and if I swap them – same result.

I have a spare connector board also, I wonder if I swapped that it might solve it?

I was wondering if I could somehow disable the VE.Bus circuit to make it just work as an isolated unit??

Any ideas?

Hi,

Have you tried swapping out the connector board?

This could be a problem with the VE.Bus RJ45 connectors, where 2 wire springs in the connector are making contact.
