A quick question. A couple days ago I updated Connect and within the description notes it includes “Add MPPT firmware v3.16”.
My question is, is this firmware update for specific MPPT charge controllers or all MPPT controllers? I ask because my SmartSolar 75 / 15 is saying no updates available. Not a big deal but just wondering.

On tjere you would see V1.XX firmware is for VE Direct MPPTs and V3.XX is for units with VE Direct and VE Can. I rxpect your unit does not have VE Can connection.
You are correct, I do not have a VE Can connection nor was I aware of Victron Professional. The update mentioned nothing about what hardware was required or who or what the update applied to. Thanks for the link and clarification. Cheers.
