Pylontech US3000c does not get loaded

Hi,
i ran a 1-phase / 1-Multiplus 48/5000 system with four us3000c Pylontech batteries without any problem. I extended to 3-phase / 3-Multiplus 48/5000 system and implemented a fifth Pylontech battery. Five batteries are shown online, lowest cell voltage is 3.283V and highest cell voltage is 3.491V. With the 5th battery only run led is flashing and ‘charge current limit’ us 37 A. I reset the system already but do not get the new battery loaded properly. Every help is highly appreciated..Robert

So your newest module is recognized then. How was the SOC of the old modules before you connected the new one? How was the SOC of the new module before you connected it? Have you run a charge/discharge cycle?

How are the modules wired?

As a sidenote, 5x US3000 are under the recommended minimal bank size for a three phase MP 48/5000 system. With 15kVA of combined inverter power Victron recommends to use at least 24kWh, or 7 US3000 (6,85 to be exact)

SOC was 100%, now it is 89%. I am actually running a discharge cycle with a heavy consumer down to probably 30%. Let’s see what happens if I start charging then. Module wiring is two grids with 8/6 modules going through two MPPTs for each grid into a Lynx…thanks

I was talking about the battery modules, not your PV. Theres preferred ways to wire them in parallel, using a prime number of modules severely limits the good options.

But what were the SOCs before connecting them together? You should not connect batteries in parallel if their SOC is far apart from eachother. Its better to match the SOCs first.

Is your new battery master? Did you leave them connected to each other without other equipment connected for a while, so they can balance out?

(Dc connections)

made new battery to master. 3 MPs were still connected and running. now i am discharging the entire stack and be with 27% SOC. No change in loading behavior so far
