We bought a field that is rather wet, and close to the level of the river. We want to transform it into an orchard. So after some searches and discussions, I installed an off-grid solution to “pump it up”!
2 solar panels, giving me 750Wc

The pump takes about 200W, so I have roughtly 8h of reserve
And I added a relay for future extension for a watering pump for summer.
A LOT of fun, and it works flawlessly for 3 months now!
Actually, it is on the south edge of a forest, so there are around 6 hours of full sun. The picture is very partial
Thank you for the tip of the earth electrode and residual current CB, I will investigate that idea!
3.5 Connecting the inverter neutral output to the chassis/ground
The AC output is isolated from the DC input and the chassis. Local regulations may require a true neutral. In this case one of the AC output wires must be connected to the chassis, and the chassis
must be connected to a reliable ground: see appendix A
The AC supply from the inverter has no reference to earth, it’s an isolating transformer. Linking neutral and earth can make the system less safe as you then require an RCD to detect live to earth faults.
