is it possible to pull a report (format xls/csv or alike) covering a to be defined date-range detailing grid consumption/feed per hour (or other period of time)
There’s a download button on the widget page.
that allows me to download widget info on a day to day basis. I would like to download information on a monthly basis
OK, now I understand.
You can set a date range to extract the data over the time period you want (it sometimes it t takes a long time, and they send you an email link when it is ready).
But unfortunately, there is no automatic aggregation by week, day, or month.
You just get a big dump of data that you will need to aggregate using a spreadsheet, for example (e.g., sum the columns for a range of dates of interest). It’s not terribly convenient but it works.
I dont mind the data crunching, in fact the big data dump is what I am looking for. Let me do the logical aggregating ![]()
that being said, where can I set the date range you mention and what steps do I need to make in order to have them send me an email link.
I just did a 90 day download to xlsx.
It gives you every minute, and the file was 148.9 Mbytes.
I can’t remember if the sampling gets more granular if you get more than 90 days.
Not sure if csv is a better idea than xlsx, both files slow down the computer a lot trying to open them.
You set the date range for all of the widgets first on the Advanced page, then click the download button in the upper right corner (middle icon).
You’ll see a notice that your VRM email account will be sent a link email to get the file later. The 90 day one I just did took about 15 minutes for the email to show up, ymmv.
Sometimes the Widgets you define are sufficient to get the information you need by inspection.
Other times, you need the raw data columns, and there’s a whole bunch of them.
The Custom date range works fine, I usually just do Last 90 days. Keep in mind they only keep data for 6 months.
It took me a while to notice you posted a screenshot of the range settings
once I figured that one out, it was kind of straightforward. Thanks for the hints, I am now awaiting the download link ![]()
