I am having Trouble to Stop charging my Zoe on the EVCS without Display.
Start Charging works totally OK.
When i want to Stop charging before the car is full, i cannot find a sequence that works without the Zoe releasing the cable without signaling an Error and the Message “Check charger”.
I have tried every combination possible.
Press Stop in web Interface, then Button in Zoe, the other way around, etc.
I think IT worked OK a while (one or two Firmware Versions ago).
I have calibrated the cp Signal after going Back to previous fw. Did Change nothing.
I Always charge with 3P from 6 to 16A, Zoe is from 2021,135.
IT “feels” Like EVCS is Not communicating IT wants to Stop charging, and this Zoe goes directly to Red Error Like If Power Just switched Off.
Any ideas?
Serial: HQ2309E3MJT
Currently installed version is 2.01, although the web display says “2.1”.
Version 2.01 allows for manual calibration via web interface, version 2.02 (latest) just says “…aborted” when trying to calibrate. Manual and automatic calibration does not help to solve the problem.
The charging works totally ok, either with auto or manual start, also changing A while charging is always ok.
If i fully charge the car, the charging stops and i can unplug the cable without error.
I do not remember for sure, but i think i press the unplug button in the car, and unplug the cable.
I seldom do charge to 100%, so i do not remember for sure.
It is just the stopping while charging which leads to an error on the car side display inside says “check charger port/Ladeanschluss prüfen” and the Light on the cars charging port goes to blinking red, which signals an error.
It does not matter if i stop via button in car or in app.
Real Problem is, the car does not release the cable lock, so i have to serveral times try to start charging again, unplug the charger cable, plug it again and press the unplug / charge door open button again and again. Really fucks up my view of electric cars.
I do not remember wunder which version it worked, but will try going backward.
It “feels” like the EVCS just stopy charging as requested either way, but the communication with the car does not refelct the fact it is done, so the zoe just sees the power going away and signals an error.
The Zoe is said to be “empfindlich” with chargers, I can not confirm that for my situation.
I have never had a problem with public chargers and no expierience with other private wallbox chargers, but also not that broad expierience in general.
