PowerAssist-Support for Multiplus 3000/12/120-16 ACOut-2

Hi all,

I got a question regarding the Powerassist for ACOut-2 of the Multiplus installed in a camper van. ACOut-2 is only powered up in the case the camper is connected to land power. This is enabled/disabled by two assistants in the Multiplus.

Afaik the PowerAssist will not only provide power for ACOut-1, it’s also provided for ACOut-2.

I’ve installed the 3KW electrical part of the ALDE-heating and the fridge onto this port to asssure that the connected stuff will not be provided with inverter-power if the camping van is not connected to land-power.

And now the theoretical problem: If the heating is mistakenly configured with 3KW for electrical heating and I’m connected to a camp site that is limited to 6A, the PowerAssist will suck the needed 180-and-something Amperes out of the batteries to provide enough power for the heating.

Is that correct? And if yes, how to prohibit this?

AC OUT 1 and 2 are the same there is just a relay that switches AC OUT 2 on/off if needed.
So power assist is working on both.

You might need to add another assistant to disable AC OUT 2 if the power is higher than xW.
